TriageSim is released under the Apache License 2.0.

Note

The audio extra depends on XTTS-v2, which is distributed under its own model licence with additional restrictions. TriageSim's Apache-2.0 licence does not extend to it — see Audio rendering.

Intended use¶

Research software

TriageSim generates synthetic dialogue for research on speech and language systems. It is not a clinical decision support tool, has not been clinically validated, and must not be used to triage real patients or to inform real clinical decisions.

Dialogues it produces are generated artefacts, not records of real encounters. Label them as synthetic in any dataset you release.
